Biking to the Sun

After a 600-mile bike ride through the Canadian Rockies and over the Continental Divide, Ms. Sachar wrote a travel memoir about the beauty and experiences that captivate cyclists in the North American West.

Revisiting Yellowstone

For a special issue on the state of Wyoming, Ms. Sachar authored two anchor features – one about a luxury float trip down the Snake River and the other about a teacher-led hike of rarely seen spots inside Yellowstone National Park. Both were cover features.

Floating The Snake

Ms. Sachar routinely photographs the images for the stories she writes for a range of freelance assignments, including those for Cowboys & Indians. For this story, she details the life of a fly fisherman on the Snake River.
