For a series about Long Island vitamin
makers who made misleading claims about the efficacy of their

For a Newsday story about the failure of
firms who
received state Job Development Authority loans to produce
promised jobs and failure of JDA to monitor firms’ progress.

For a Newsday feature on a Long Island firm that struggled
to rebuild after a fire destroyed its inventory and records.

three years’ experience or less. For a Newsday Magazine
story on the reasons drug companies shy from researching and
manufacturing “orphan” drugs to treat rare diseases.
